I am inspired by the moment when dreams and reality collide.
Dreamt 夢過 begins with a simple thought: “I used to imagine…”

This piece captures the emotional crossroads I stood at when choosing my career. The moment I chose the weight of reality over the pursuit of my dreams.

The cloaked child standing alone in a vast open field, gazing toward the galaxy with one hand reaching for the stars, represents a longing to touch a dream that feels just out of reach. It speaks to the sorrow of letting go, and the silent hope of one day reclaiming what was once imagined, once dreamt of.

This artwork was created not only to express how I felt at that time, but also to preserve a dream I once held, and perhaps, to remind myself that it’s still there. That maybe one day, I’ll pick up my cloak and chase it again.

Through Dreamt 夢過, I hope viewers are reminded of the quiet courage it takes to keep dreaming. Even the faintest dream is a rare and precious thing, worth remembering, and worth holding on to.

《Dreamt 夢過》始於一個簡單的念頭——

「我曾經想像過……」

這件作品記錄了我在人生岔路口、選擇職涯時的那段心境。
那是一個我選擇承擔現實重量，而暫時放下夢想的瞬間。

披著斗篷、獨自站在遼闊原野中的孩子，一手伸向銀河，目光追逐星空，
象徵著對一個似乎近在咫尺、卻又無法觸及的夢的渴望。
那是一種放手的哀傷，也是一份靜靜存在、等待有一天能再次拾起的希望——
那個曾被想像過、曾被夢見的自己。

創作《Dreamt 夢過》，不只是為了表達當時的感受，
更是為了保存一個我曾經擁有的夢。
也許，是在提醒自己——它其實從未消失。
或許有一天，我會再次披上斗篷，回頭追逐它。

透過它，我希望觀看的人能想起——持續做夢，本身就需要一種安靜卻堅定的勇氣。
即使再微弱的夢想，都是稀有而珍貴的存在，值得被記住，也值得被珍惜。
